Consider reserving a private fishing charter through Batson Charter Boats, Tried and True Charters or another local provider. For a laid-back fishing day, cast a line from the shore at Carolina Beach State Park as well as Freeman Park, where four-wheel-drive vehicles (with the required permits) can navigate to prime fishing spots.
