See how beach fashion evolved over the past century at "100 Years of Bathing Suits," a special centennial exhibition at Fort Fisher State Historic Site opening in April. Take a self-guided journey through Carolina Beach’s past with the Now & Then tour—just look for designated stops around town that showcase historic photos and stories from decades past.

Watch (or join!) 100 yogis flowing together on the sand with Salty Dog Yoga & Surf April 26. After, head to The Carolina Beach Pier's Low Tide Lounge for breakfast and mimosa specials. Then, make your way to Carolina Beach Lake Park, where classic cars from the 1920s to today will be on display. Stroll through the decades of automobiles and enjoy food, live music and more. Bring your crew and creativity to the beach in front of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk for the CB100 Sandcastle Competition May 3.
Watch 20 artists bring history to life as they paint large-scale murals at Muralfest May 17. These vibrant works of art will be displayed through early September. Get your tickets for Carolina Beach Music Festival, one of the longest-running beach music festivals on the East Coast. Close out the summer at the Carolina Beach Marina Sept. 6 with the Centennial Flotilla. Cruising from Snows Cut to the Carolina Beach Boat Basin and back, this colorful boat parade is a sight to see!

Savor 100 years of island flavors! Kicking off March 8 alongside Pleasure Island Restaurant Week, find limited-time specials at more than 20 local restaurants and bars. Sip on a Centennial Cocktail, grab a $19.25 menu special (a nod to the year Carolina Beach was founded), and try reimagined dishes inspired by 1925 classics. Paying tribute to the flavors of the past, these specials are available through September. Keep an eye out for the Official Centennial Sticker at participating spots.
