The Sound of Music Fills the Boardwalk
Each summer, return to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk to enjoy the Fireworks by the Sea & Boardwalk Blast weekly from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Take a stroll down the historic Boardwalk with the ocean on one side and the sound of music and good times on the other. Gather around the Gazebo stage to listen to free live music, enjoy family-friendly activities beginning at 6:30 p.m. and marvel as the fireworks show lights up the sky over the Atlantic Ocean beginning at 9 p.m.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Hurricane Alley’s features live music every weekend through summer on its rooftop deck. Enjoy beachy beverages, local brews and more on tap. Carolina Smokehouse serves up delicious barbeque from family recipes as well as live music on its rooftop bar. For those who are all about making their own music, be sure to hit up Silver Dollar and Buzz’s at the Beach for karaoke nights.
Festival Fun
One of the longest-running beach music festivals returns to town each June, drawing visitors from all over. Some of the biggest names in beach music grace the stage during a full day of live performances at the Carolina Beach Music Festival. Enjoy live music with the SeaWitch Café & Tiki Bar Outdoor Music Concert series on one of their several outdoor dining patios.
